HSE Professor Appointed Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has appointed Polina Kryuchkova, HSE professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the City of Moscow, as the new Deputy Minister of Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development. Dr. Kryuchkova will oversee the Ministry’s macroeconomic analysis and forecasting.

It turns out that HSE students are very active members of their communities: from painting with children in local orphanages to helping out at animal shelters, students participate in a wide range of volunteer efforts—and have fun while doing it.
